Please note the following special announcements, updates, and reminders regarding the GSCA Specialty Events in September. If you have questions please contact the Events Coordinator,debzygula@yahoo.com

1. The Giant Schnauzer Group block room rate of $89+tax is scheduled to be released by the Hotel Carlisle on August 17th (one month ahead of the events). We have requested the rate be extended to August 31st but strongly suggest you make your reservations ASAP to ensure room availability. Call 800-692-7315.

2. For the convenience of the attendees, the Club is providing a large generator to be available for the grooming tent. The generator will be capable of powering 40 extension cords but can only handle one (1) dryer on each line. The generator hours of operation will be posted at the grooming tent. It is recommended you bring 50' to 100' of appropriate extension cord.

3. Agility people... where are you? This is an opportunity to work with someone excelled in motivating a Giant! It is a full-day seminar with one of the country's foremost trainers at a cost that is half of the normal charge and is little more than the cost of a single hour of private training. Both working team and auditor response has been slow. It will be a great disappointment, and surely a loss of credibility for the Giant Agility Community, if the majority of the attendees are non-Giant people.

4. Catalog Advertising deadline to receive ads and payments is August 20th.

5. Breakfast and lunch will be provided Wed-Thu-Fri-Sat in the Hospitality Room. You can pay at the door but, your advance reservations will be greatly appreciated so we can sufficiently estimate quantities required daily.

6. The following vendors have confirmed attendance: Pampered Paws -- Edge of Distinction -- D's Relaxed Paws Canine Massage Therapy -- Gone Doggin -- Grey Horse Gifts -- Fawski Woodworks -- Silhouettes Unlimited -- and a couple others are still pending!

7. The superintendent for the Specialties is Jim Rau Dog Shows, the AKC Gazette incorrectly listed an independent secretary.
